Gymkhana, Bikekhana & Fun Day

Packsaddle Gymkhana Bikekhana & Funday is on again!

About 170km north of Broken Hill, the Packsaddle Gymkhana will run again over the Easter weekend. It's not only a chance to test your horse & bike riding skills, but an opportunity to catch up with mates. This destination known by its roadhouse knows how to put on a long weekend of fun for all.

The two-day event includes plenty of horse races of both the novelty and more competitive kind, and a Bikekhana for those that prefer an engine on the Sunday.

“For the locals here it is a big boost absolutely. It is great for the kids in the area, it's just terrific that they can get back on a horse or jump on the motorbike and enter a few of the events.”

The Packsaddle Progress Committee has been working tirelessly and the success of the event would not be possible without the great support of the community.

One problem that organisers won't have to worry about is making room for people to roll out their swags.

The Committee is looking forward again to seeing some new faces, as well as some old faces return to Packsaddle after two previous very successful events.

“There are a lot of people from away that travel to go to the Packsaddle Gymkhana, Bikekhana & Funday. A large number of people are keen to come back to have a fantastic family weekend to share a few yarns, participate in the events and kick off those dancing shoes.”
